Principal Engineer - Functional Safety Manager for Power Management Family of Products @Renesas Electronics

Represents the Power management products team for internal/external Functional Safety process as well as technical audits/assessments- Responsible for re-certification of the ISO26262 Compliant Product Development process at Renesas (ex-Dialog Semiconductor) as a Functional Safety representative in the surveillance audit conducted by external accreditation body, TuV Rheinland- Looking into the alignment of the Functional Safety process within Renesas’s Automotive Analog Power, Battery Management and Video Business Division along with company level product development process harmonization- Performing Functional Safety Management tasks for a couple of Power Management ICs (one targeting ASIL B and one targeting ASIL D) for automotive vehicle applications- Responsible for product dependent as well as product independent tailoring of the safety work products for the design as per the applicability of the ISO 26262- Creating functional safety work products such as Safety Plan, Safety Requirements Specifications, Safety Application Notes, Safety Case, etc- Defining hardware design requirements, design verification, silicon validation, manufacturing tests and system integration tests requirements as per assumed safety requirements and target ASIL- Performing safety analyses such as concept FMEDA, FTA, DFA, FMEA & FMEDA- Customer interface for PMICs Functional Safety in the Business Unit to align with their safety concept and finalize upon the Development Interface Agreement- Works with technical marketing team to respond to the customer’s RFQs.
