ABOUT VIKALP SHRIVASTAVA

With over two years of experience in environmental research and sustainability, I currently serve as an Associate Trainee at Varaha. In this role, I support the design and implementation of large-scale Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) and regenerative agriculture projects across India and Nepal. My contributions include land-eligibility checks, baseline analyses, leakage calculation, and project documentation, ensuring alignment with national policies and international standards. I also collaborate with field teams, local partners, and farmers for primary data collection and reporting. My prior roles, including internships at CinSOIL and Klim, have strengthened my expertise in carbon project development, MRV approaches, and sustainable agriculture. I am committed to driving impactful environmental solutions by leveraging my technical skills and collaborative mindset to support Varaha’s mission of advancing sustainability initiatives.
