I started working as a material analyst in an integrated supply chain. As a analyst the prime goal of my job is to keep record and manage inventory.By keeping track of purchasing habits and stock levels, I figure out what materials or goods companies need and the most efficient ways to coordinate supply and demand.I have to ensure that the inventory is within the threshold level and there is no incident of shortage of raw material. I look into vendor development and sourcing activities to improve the overall supply of goods with minimum cost. I am responsible for procurement and planning of raw material using SAP and excel tools.
