WORK HISTORY
Postdoctoral Fellowship @Creighton University School Of Medicine
Omaha, NE, US
Design, plan and execute research ideas in auditory neurobiology. Specifically focusing on the synaptic regeneration of inner hair cells in mice via manipulating fractalkine signaling, macrophages and intracellular lipids.Handling advanced equipment’s to test hearing sensitivity by measuring auditory brain stem response and Distortion products of acoustic emission. Performs molecular biology techniques like PCR, cloning and protein purifications, western blotting, immunohistochemistry. All these techniques were performed in genetically modified mice and zebra fish. After precuring data from the experiments, they are analyzed using bioinformatic tools and software like IMAGEJ, IMARIS, VOLOCITY and they are inferred after statistical analysis.Updated with the ongoing research in hearing field via literature search, attending conference conducted by Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO), International society of neuroimmunology and etc.Contributing the improvement of the team by attending lab meetings, brainstorming the research problems, participating in journal clubs and providing suggestions for the team members.Contributing the research field by reviewing research articles and providing critical suggestion on other\'s work.
