Creates and cultivates a culture centered around Safety, Quality and Teamwork Manage Engineering Project status for site projects Model capacity and analysis of various options in support of growth initiatives for long term capacity needs Develop people, process and material flow layouts to support improvement in efficiency and/or capacity including Value Stream Mapping activities Participate on cross functional project teams and risk assessments to provide Engineering related guidance. Resolve barriers impacting manufacturing (inventory, vendor quality issues, vendor supply etc.) Work directly with internal departments to address new product transfer engineering needs. Generate and edit standard operating procedures using Change Control. Conduct process analysis and root cause analysis for manufacturing processes utilizing PPI / DMAIC tools to promote a disciplined investigation approach. Actively interface with the Manufacturing group and other departments in problem solving with regards to equipment and systems. Study and recommend techniques to improve existing products/processes Develop manufacturing documentation such as engineering changes, BOMs, fab drawings, flow diagrams, SOPs, Procedures, and assembly drawings
