A control design engineer with core experience in design and functional verification testing of the SVC/ STATCOM control systems- Have hands on experience in tuning PI controllers used within the control system to ensure the specific dynamic performance from SVC/ STATCOM control system is met with as per customer expectations- Close coordination with other disciplines like primary field interfaces (electrical), mechanical and system engineering to bring in all the relevant aspects into the design of control systems- Testing the designed control methodology in a real time simulation environment with RTDS system- Have experience in assessment and setting up the relevant sub-systems/ simulators and hardware units required for successful and satisfactory testing of RTDS based real time simulations- Analysis and preparation of test results/ reports for customer submission and demonstration during FAT programs- On site and remote support for the commissioning team to successfully execute site acceptance tests (both control and SCADA applications) of the SVC/ STATCOM control system- As an experienced professional, often involved in technical review of design/ testing work executed by other team members- Have basic understanding on the network, cybersecurity and SCADA requirements in a SVC/ STATCOM projects- Have worked closely with system studies engineering on the dynamic performance studies for a SVC or STATCOM control system- Involved in both customer training ( material preparation and conducting training sessions) as well as the internal training of the colleagues and brain storming sessions- Certified Yellow belt Lean Six Sigma professional- As a tender responsible, involved in reading the customer specifications, preparation of bid proposals, discussions with other project stakeholders to bring synergy in overall technical solution, technical review of the bid proposals on both technical and commercial aspects, presentation and discussions with customer on the solution offered- As a tender coordinator within the team to ensure that relevant tender resources with competencies in Network/ Cybersecurity, SCADA, HMI and Core control are in place to work on the bid proposals so that the final technical proposal is complete with all aspects of the customer requirements.
