I am a Delhi based cinematographer/photographer. I started taking photos as a hobby during my graduation in Delhi university;later on my hobby turned in to my passion and I decided to follow my passion and became a professional cinematographer/photographer.And it has been almost ten years that I have worked with images. ‘Black Pamphlets’ was my first film as a cameraman; the film was based on student -politics of Delhi university.I have worked with acclaimed photographer Anushaka Nanda Menon and Manoj Jain; during this period I have travelled extensively in India on their various projects. I have been also working with Ranu Ghosh, a senior cinematographer for last six years. I have been associated with Doordarshan, Dissolve Studio, Fox & Anchor, Brief Production and Co-ordination, Creative Hub and Discovery Channel. In 2012 I got the chance to work with American celebrity, Oprah Winfrey in collaboration with India Film Services on her visit of Delhi.I was the cameraman for ‘Red Light India’, a film produced by Discovery channel and directed by Austin Steven. I have been associated with Mexico based documentary filmmaker Lucia Gaja on her project in India. I also got the opportunity to work with Suprio Sen on his famous documentary film, “Wagha”. I have also contributed photographs of Delhi’s monuments to INTACH Delhi Chapter. One of my photographs was selected in ‘Delhi Photo Contest’ and was a part of exhibition held in Delhi, organized by Delhi Government. Presently I have been associated with Swastika Films.
