I am currently Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology, RK University, Rajkot, Gujarat, IndiaMy Expertise: Probiotics Functional foods and nutraceuticals MicrobiologyAbout me:I am working as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology at RK University in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. I have over 15 years of experience in teaching and research in microbiology, with a focus on probiotics.I received his Ph.D. in Dairy Microbiology from the National Dairy Research Institute in Karnal, Haryana, India in 2016. I also holds a Master\'s degree in Biotechnology from Jiwaji University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India.My research interests include the isolation, characterization, and evaluation of probiotic bacteria from various sources, as well as the development of functional foods and nutraceuticals using these bacteria. I have published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at various national and international conferences.I am actively involved in teaching and outreach activities. I teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in microbiology. I have been invited as speaker/ resource person at various workshops and seminars on probiotics and other aspects of microbiology.In addition to these academic work, I am also the Coordinator of the Microbiologists Society, India (MSI) for Universities of Saurashtra & Kutch Region, Gujarat. I have organized various workshops and seminars thus actively involved in promoting the study and research of microbiology in the region.My research work on probiotics aims at helping to advance our understanding of these beneficial bacteria and how they can be used to improve human health.
