As a SHE Partner, I head the Safety, Health, and Environment function for ROCHE PHARMA INDIA, spearheading initiatives and ensuring robust adherence to global SHE standards. In parallel, I serve as the Site Security Officer, overseeing comprehensive global security framework, and act as the Business Continuity Management Lead, developing and implementing strategies to ensure operational resilience.A core aspect of my role involves the strategic implementation of the Group SHE & Sustainability goals within the Indian operations. This is further strengthened by my close collaboration with the APAC SHE Business Partner, facilitating the seamless integration and execution of regional SHE programs.• Supporting and advising site senior and line management in SHE matters.• Promoting SHE in the Company based on the global Roche SHE objectives and goals• Supporting the organization for compliance with local legal regulations and with Roche SHE provisions• Monitoring and documenting the implementation of SHE programs and action plans, especially SHE measures planned in order to close any identified gaps, prevention of accidents and incidents, occupational injuries and illnesses, emissions due to the activities of the Company, especially related to water and air pollution• To play a major role in helping to identify hazards by inspection of equipment’s and premises.• To help organize or conduct employees’ induction training/orientation in Health, Safety & Security and to help review employees’ training systems• To help in problem solving regarding Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
