About Vijay Ganne
Department Manager for one of the largest Geotechnical Group in United States for PSI managing over $5 Million Annual budget and more than 50 people. Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with more than 12 years of experience in Land development, Geotechnical Investigation Reports, developing Site Layouts, Topographic Property Plans, Site Grading, Paving and Drainage Plans and Foundation Location plans for different types of equipment for Onshore facilities in Oil and gas industry. Have experience in Foundation Design, Steel design and Concrete design for different types of structures in the compressor/meter stations through out United States and Canada. Coordinate and support the construction activities with RFI\'s and Asbuilt drawings. Very knowledgeable in preparing TIC estimates and man hour estimates for FEED studies and proposals. Have very good knowledge in Industry codes like ASCE, AISC, NFPA, API, PIP, IBC etc. Worked as a Project Engineer on a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant Project designing foundations for various structures in the plant. Worked as a design engineer for a levee project for 2 years performing Slope Stability analysis using Geo Studio 2012 software. During my first year I managed soil testing laboratory for a highway project as a laboratory supervisor and also ran advanced soil tests like Consolidation, Direct shear, Consolidated Undrained (CU) tests and Permeability tests.
