Oversaw strategy and execution of the end-to-end big data pipeline, setting big-picture objectives This leadership led to streamlined ETL processes, a 25% reduction in processing time, and optimized resource utilization.• Created and now managing a robust AWS-hosted PostgreSQL database using Django’s ORM, that houses 13 million+ patient records ingested from 2650+ hospital sources.• Created Python automation scripts, leveraged AWS services, and used Apache Spark for optimized big data handling. Additionally, I lead efforts in data modeling, warehousing, and automation.• Co-authored a peer-reviewed paper and developed an interactive portal for a FAIR metadata repository, improving access to harmonized variables from stroke-predicting studies. Increased sample size and diversity representation, automated data processes, and facilitated research on cardiovascular disease. Ongoing efforts include scalability and expansion to other diseases.
