About Vigneswar Raj
No grand origin story here, just a kid who was broke, hungry, and inspired by a CHIP magazine article about Steve Jobs. That spark hit at 12, and I dove in: grinding through graphic design gigs between school hours, geeking out over iMacs, cracking open hardware, and building PCs for anyone with cash. I threw together websites long before \"design thinking\" became a corporate buzzword. By day, I tackled engineering classes; by night, I freelanced. I failed fast, failed often—startups tanked, products crashed, and I was broke again.Then I joined Moonraft Innovation Labs, where I learned from brilliant minds and built experiences for top brands, leaving a mark on digital banking. Within a decade, I institutionalized a UX design studio in South Africa. No MBA, ust hard-earned lessons and results.When AI emerged, I saw the future. I dropped titles, stepped out of my comfort zone, and took the leap to Lowe’s. There, I- Buidling Home Inspiration Journey using Visual Intelligence and AI models for a better Leads and CVR- Built Style Your Space, a Gen-AI styling engine, launching two versions for interior spaces and now tackling outdoor landscapes and patios- Pioneered myLow, the conversational AI for product discovery on Lowes.com, laying the foundation and taking it to market- Replaced vendors and rebuilt Visual Search in-house—faster, better, and from the ground up- Rolled out Visual AI systems and Evaluation Frameworks, transforming how our team and clients approach their work.I’m still building, still learning, and always chasing what’s next.
