ABOUT SHIVAKUMAR VIGNESH
I am an experienced interventional Gastroenterologist and educator with a passion for endoscopy training and training the endoscopy trainer. I have helped co-direct and teach many endoscopy courses for trainees at all levels regionally and nationally and co-direct Train the endoscopy trainer courses nationally on behalf of the ASGE and internationally sponsored by the World endoscopy organization and local GI societies. My core competencies include endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and other advanced endoscopic techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and disorders. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles, presented at national and international conferences, and received several awards and honors for my clinical and academic excellence. I am also passionate about advancing the field of interventional gastroenterology and enhancing the collaboration and innovation among multidisciplinary teams. My mission is to provide the best possible care to my patients and to contribute to the improvement of outcomes and quality of life for those affected by gastrointestinal diseases.
