About Vignesh Baskaran

I am a Machine Learning practitioner with extensive expertise in writing and training large Neural Networks from scratch! Previously I led the Machine Learning research team at Darts-IP. The Image recognition system that I built at Darts ended up being the state of the art in 2019 and it led to the acquisition of Darts-IP by Clarivate. After the acquisition, I left the company to pursue my dream of hardcore competing on Kaggle, a global competitive Machine Learning platform. After four months of extensive hard work, I made it to the top ~1% of Kaggle. Later on, I started building my own Open source project at https://github.com/flowerpot-ai/stabilizer to stabilize the training of state-of-the-art, large neural networks. Right now I am working on building my own startup. I spent a couple of months at EF and eventually decided to move on to Antler. I specialize in Text and Image mining, Audio processing both in Discriminative as well as Generative Machine Learning.My latest Open source repo is a simple Agent framework: https://github.com/hexo-ai/agent-from-scratch
