My role here involves in developing and maintaining end-to-end cloud based solutions to customers in the BMS industry, providing bespoke Niagara solutions such as custom components, drivers etc. which have the capability to control stations, points, alarms and also talk to 3rd party systems. I also engage in managing the complete software lifecycle, starting from writing testable code, streaming it through the CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy releases to cloud, and followed by continuous monitoring through dashboards and log analytics. I also manage part of cloud infrastructure, using IaC, help optimising resources and cost without compromising the performance.As a part of our solutions, I work with high volumes of time-series data, consuming it through streaming services and storing them in a relational database to then be processed to make useful information. My contribution extends to developing and maintaining bespoke Niagara solutions such as building custom drivers/components for specific customer needs. Some of these solutions also involves in integration with 3rd party systems. I am still actively learning and exploring different technologies, protocols and concepts in the BMS industry.I am also demonstrating my skills in engaging with customers for requirements gathering, providing estimates, giving front-line customer support and manage product development and release using Agile practices.
