Part of the Volvo Cars aftermarket Buyer team that ensures the continuous supply of spare parts from the supplier to Volvo Cars Customer Service (APAC). Diligently handling the escalations raised on time if the delivery has been stopped due to commercial issues.Responsible for overseeing the delivery stop escalation issues and conducting meetings with suppliers and internal teams to sort out the issue until delivery has been restarted. During escalation meetings, provide support to planners as needed, particularly for parts with high VOR and backorders. Checking requests raised for the price increase & claims received from suppliers and negotiate for the maximum possible cost avoidance Determining, assessing, and selecting suppliers and vendors capable of providing the required goods and services. Working towards negotiating contracts, discussing terms and conditions, and maintaining assurance that suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements Orders are prepared in the ERP tool as per requirements, including purchase orders, order amendments, price updates, copy orders, move orders, change of buyer, move requisitions, tool orders, and lump sum orders for claims.Inspecting Volvo\'s car tool scrap requests, material change requests, and manufacturing location change requests received from suppliers, and working with cross-functional teams to get approval.
