ABOUT VIERA ZUBOROVA
Since June 2024, I have been leading CORRECTIV.Exile, to empower exiled media professionals and journalists to engage in democratic processes, advocate for reforms, and drive positive change. We aim to create a community-focused space highlighting exile communities\' crucial role in shaping democracy and fostering social cohesion. Political scientists focus on populism, extremism, social movements, civil society, political communication, marketing, intolerance, and hate speech. I worked in academia for ten years at various levels. Additionally, she was a Senior Research Fellow at the think tank Center for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA). In 2017, I was a Scholar-in-Residence at ISGAP at Oxford University, and in 2010, a Visiting Ph.D. Scholar at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Since 2015, I have been a regular columnist for the online newspaper Aktuality.SK has co-founded three non-profit organizations focused on human rights, education, youth, and social issues. Previously, I worked at the IOTA Foundation, focusing on the crypto industry, blockchain, and their social impacts. She also collaborated with ORAM to promote and support LGBTIQ Ukrainians in Germany.
