Possible summary:As a Purchasing Engineer at Havells, a leading electrical equipment company, I procure technical equipment for industrial operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Oriental Group of Institutes, where I gained a strong foundation in semiconductor, transistor, pcb, capacitor and Digital Electronics.In collaboration with designers, I determine the equipment needed to complete manufacturing or construction projects according to specifications, and research vendors for that equipment. I negotiate contracts, manage inventory, and handle logistics and documentation. I have successfully procured and delivered equipment for several large-scale projects, such as the installation of solar panels, LED lighting, and smart meters. I have also improved the vendor selection and evaluation process, resulting in reduced costs and increased customer satisfaction. I possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, and I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a challenging and dynamic work environment where I can continue to grow as a professional and make a positive impact.
