ABOUT VIDYA KUMARI
A keen learner and an engineer by chance. I recently graduated with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from BIT Sindri with a CGPA of 8.67.Talking about my skills and trainings I did during my studies, in order to seek hands-on experience about the core subjects and exposure to the industry, I did a vocational training from BCCL on the topic \"Electrical Substation\" which encompassed almost every basic aspect of electrical engineering like transformers, distribution systems etc. I completed another summer training from CSIR-Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, focused on designing and studying commercial solar photovoltaic systems which widened my horizons of knowledge, wisdom and vision and made me familiar with the true potential of Renewable Energy. This training equipped me with skills in designing these systems, optimizing them with PVSyst software, and understanding their operation and maintenance.Though I am still developing some skills, I am dedicated to learning and improving.In college, I took on leadership roles as the Research and Development Secretary of the Electrical Engineering Society and as an Event Manager for Prayaas India, a student-run NGO.Additionally, I participated in activities like the Vedanta ESL Ltd. Hackathon, Blood donation camps, etc.(And for a bit of fun trivia: I even had my moment of fame, being featured in a DD Jharkhand documentary about BIT Sindri!) I am eager to use my diverse skills and experience to contribute to innovative projects in electrical engineering.
