About Vidushi Arya

I am a trainee psychologist with a strong interest in how mental healthcare is accessed, understood, and delivered both at the individual and community level.Through my trainings, field exposure, and engagement with mental health work, I have begun to reflect on the many factors that influence how mental healthcare is understood and delivered across different contexts.I am committed to learning responsibly through supervised training, observation, and participation in mental health awareness initiatives and community-based programs. Alongside this, I often find myself wondering about questions such as-What safeguards should exist when people seek psychological help-How can awareness efforts be informative without becoming sensational-What does ethical, culturally sensitive mental healthcare look like in practice?In the long term, I intend to work towards building and strengthening mental healthcare systems that are thoughtful, trauma-informed, and grounded in real clinical realities rather than quick solutions. My interest lies not only in individual care, but in how platforms, institutions, and communities can support mental well-being responsibly. I value reflective conversations, ethical learning spaces, and collaboration with clinicians, educators, and organisations committed to doing mental health work with care and integrity.
