ABOUT VIDISHA MATHUR
Born and brought up in Delhi, the national capital and the host of international embassies, I have found myself to be immersed in rich culture, not only from across the country but from all over the world. It has also given me front row seats to the happenings of some of the most important legal and political institutions in our country, the impact of their actions and the reactions of the people they affect. This had led me to pursue law, but over course my motivations have shifted from curiosity to ambition. Observing the institutions is no longer enough, so now I work to earn my place and part in these institutions that make our country go round and leave a lasting impression on the legal profession. I stand for justice, equality, merit, humanity and the protection and representation of the varied cultures and histories of the people around me. I know that as a youth, my evolution has just begun. And hence, I stay open to new learning experiences and opportunities of growth. I actively seek opportunities to expand my legal knowledge and engage in a variety of extra-curricular activities and initiatives. As I begin to launch my professional career, I am gravitated towards Legal Journalism, International Trade Law, and International Relations. I am excited to explore new opportunities and make valuable contributions to society.
