About Vidisha Dhar

Vidisha is committed to creating equitable and accessible cities. With a keen interest in mobility and urban form she believes that everyone should have the freedom to comfortably move around cities, regardless of gender, income, and any differently abled conditions. At Arcadis, Vidisha contributes to advisory services for the Government of India, designing transit-oriented cities and integrating multi modal network in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Varanasi. She is also the founder of \"Gendered Mobility and Climate Action\"(GMCA), a research collaborative based in Mumbai that investigates urban mobility through a gender lens. GMCA focuses on how women experience public spaces and use active transportation, emphasizing their specific needs for equitable access in the city.
