A snapshot of our services:1. WONK – India’s first mobile app to formalize & streamline the process of connecting WONKS (An expert in a particular field), popularly known as Tutors, to students & parents seeking them. Since ages, the process of finding the best tutor for academics, hobbies & interests, entrance coaching, languages, arts & crafts etc has been arbitrary. WONK, through effective use of modern day technology seeks to connect millions of students/parents to their probable tutors in almost all the fields of learning. Further, the application provides the facility to book personal classes, batch studies & mock tests online. As per an ASSOCHAM study in 2013, the private tuition market in India is estimated to be around $40 bn growing at a whopping 40% annually. Further, according to the report Shadow Education: Private Supplementary Tutoring and Its Implications for Policy Makers in Asia, released by the Asian Development Bank, in India a whopping 60% of primary school children and up to 83% students in high schools receive private tutoring, clearly indicating the high demand for such services in India and the need for technological disruption.2. Virtual Library (LIVErary) is a unique online eBook subscription based model which provides access to over premium ebooks on all subjects, interests, grades & levels at subscription costs as low as Rs.60 (US$4). Almost all books which are regularly referred by students in school, colleges, professional programs (engineering/management/law/accountancy etc) and many more are available in our library3. Virtual Classroom provides a facility for users from across the world to come together and learn in a real time classroom environment from their teacher/mentor. The unique internet based tool allows audio & video sharing amongst participants, open websites & e-books, write formulas & draw diagrams on multiple whiteboards, raise hands, refer to websites & videos and record the entire session.
