Hello! I\'m Vic. I am a principal engineer working on Twilio Engage, building data-driven, personalized customer experiences. Previously I worked on the Journeys product, and long before that I led the Orchestration & Scheduling platform team.At Eventbrite, I worked on frontend infrastructure & tooling,[redacted for legal reasons], and then was on the team that built Eventbrite Ads.Prior to that, I was a full-stack principal engineer in the scientific communication, dissemination, & conversation space, and co-founded the Research Square preprint platform. I also founded JournalGuide and Rubriq, two award winning products that help scientific researchers.I have a lot of experience at building engineering teams from zero, building & scaling distributed systems, streamlining processes, taking on hard problems, and making things faster. Journeys, a feature of Engage, provides a way for marketers to personalize experiences through planning how and when to engage customers with the right campaigns and messages.Before that I led the orchestration platform team. My team owned the workflow orchestration & scheduling platform, which simplifies the process of building new products over our many composable sub-systems.
