Works closely with Relationship Managers by preparing “pre-screens” for new transactions to be presented to the appropriate Credit Administration Approval Authority. Prepares loan presentations, including full credit & financial analysis for a full underwriting of both new prospective credit requests, as well as renewing existing credit facilities. Manages a portfolio and provides support to RMs from three offices located in Costa Mesa, Downtown Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. Prepares Administrative Action Memorandums to address various credit items, from requesting maturity extensions, requesting covenant waivers, providing updated information material to the credit facility, and other items. Maintains responsibility to actively monitor and service a portfolio of loans, and prepared risk rating upgrades and downgrades as necessary. Types of credit facility transactions that I have worked on include, Interim Construction Loans, Bridge Financing, Owner Occupied CRE, Investor CRE, C&I Working Capital Loans, Asset Based Lending/Formula Based Lending, Capital Finance, Levered Lending, Acquisition Financing, Standby & Commercial Letters of Credit. One of the most important responsibilities is to ensure there is a fair balance between providing excellent customer service while acknowledging my priority leans towards protecting the Bank and its assets from unmitigated risks through careful structuring, thorough underwriting, careful credit analysis, and active portfolio monitoring, as my fiduciary duties to the Bank and its shareholders are of top priority.
