Establish the IT and InfoSec departments\' operative goals and objectives- Analyze the company’s current technology infrastructure and align it with the business’ strategic plans- Develop a communication system for the company, including network infrastructure, office interconnection, etc- Direct and organize IT-related projects, driving project prioritization and resource allocation decisions- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the organization’s systems and hardware components, ensuring that appropriate security measures are implemented to protect the company’s intellectual property, customers, staff and assets- Develop and maintain overall backup and recovery strategy (Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity)- Develop and implement data retention standards - Introduce and standardize \"best practices\" in data and technology- Implement an Infosec compliance framework aligned with customer requirements and international standards- Work closely with the Management Team to create strategic plans for the business’ future growth- Oversee IT budgets to make sure there are no unnecessary expenditures. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives- Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers- Regularly evaluate vendor hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment products, recommending upgrades consistent with the organization’s short and long term objectives- Consistently evaluate technical efficiency and make changes as necessary- Supervise and recruit technology staff.
