Utilized Bloomberg models to validate and analyze P&L for a multi-strategy hedge fund, requiring the understanding of booking models and the impact of price changes within multiple security types including: exotic fixed income instruments, FVA instruments, holding versus securitized equities, FX hedge bookings, and option volatility valuation monitoring. • Through rigorous testing, risk analysis, quality assurance, and production to parallel run-throughs, aided in the continued development of an in-house financing and P&L subledger system in order to properly reflect current NAV volatility, and highlight outliers in P&L in order to flatten them with ad hoc adjustments. • Ownership of outlining PM booking and P&L adjustment policy, writing business and technical specifications, and testing current systems upgrades to our underlying P&L and financing aggregators. • With the suggestion and establishment of new workflow processes, file enhancement and consolidation, and providing clarity to team roles and responsibilities, was able to effectively reduce risk factors in P&L investigation and cut down publish time of T-1 P&L and T0 Estimate.
