Editor and columnist for the newspaper’s lifestyle, arts and entertainment pages and online content, as well as editor and writer for Worcester Magazine, an alternative newsweekly managed by the Telegram & Gazette, and Worcester Living Magazine, a high-end quarterly glossy lifestyle periodical. Author of arts, entertainment & culture articles. Working with reporters and freelancers to develop arts, culture & entertainment stories. Responsible for editing copy for accuracy, clarity, objectivity, grammar, spelling, organization, readability and style; laying out and editing sections, monitoring the news wire, writing headlines and promoting stories on social media. Represented the newspaper\'s arts coverage in numerous radio and podcast appearances, and as the Telegram\'s music critic on the WCCA televised singing competition, “New Voices,” and as host of the Unity Radio music program,\"Epicenter 508.\" Prior to moving to the features section, worked on the copy desk, including copy editing the Montachusett Telegram & Gazette and the obituary pages. Received six NENPA Awards for Best Arts Reporting and other awards for serious columnist, sports writing and headline writing, Two Distinguished Specialty Periodical (for Worcester Magazine), niche publication (for Worcester Magazine) and best arts & entertainment section (with the last three with features editor Nancy Campbell). Received the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Worcester Music Awards for his work in music journalism.
