ABOUT VICTORIA REINHARTZ
No, I’m serious. I really believe you should pursue a career in teaching.” I was in my last year of pharmacy school, and realized a training gap for nursing staff at our local hospital. After a string of errors resulted in poor outcomes, I offered to do a clinical education session. So, there I was, having just finished a presentation on chronic kidney disease to a rockstar group of nurses. When my preceptor called an urgent meeting, I panicked that I accidentally said a curse word, or maybe I was saying “glomerulus” wrong. I’m kidding about that last part, I practiced “glomerulus” a LOT. I’m only kind of kidding about the cursing part-my incredible momma drove a concrete truck for 20+ years. And let’s be honest, as we all battle to advocate for our patient in a broken healthcare system, the expression “WTH” just fits sometimes. It turns out, my clinical preceptor saw that I could teach, and she planted the seed of what would be the most rewarding element of my professional career. I fell in love with teaching, and realized that problem solving is my jam. As a consultant helping companies optimize mobile integrated health/paramedicine operations, training, and strategy, I get to do both-Clinical Education: I help you invest in and empower your MIH teams, so that they become highly effective extensions of the provider-Value-Based Care Solutions: I evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for MIH/CP teams. My blue-collar background gives me the real-world experience I need, and my problem solving superpower allows me find the solutions you need. Sometimes there is merit in recreating the wheel, and toxicity in “because that’s how we’ve always done it.” I believe paramedics and pharmacists are underutilized, and I see patients falling through the cracks of our healthcare system every day. I feel our calling is in partnership, and in reaching down to pull vulnerable populations out of that healthcare gap. Mobile integrated health is the future, and MIH/CP teams need interprofessional expertise, training, and solid operational strategy. I get to teach, you get an exemplary training program.I get to problem solve, you get to streamline operations, minimize legal risk, and increase profits.Reach out to me if you’re ready for a win-win solution.
