Mrs. Palek is a transformational leader who embraces innovative viewpoints and talents. She is a strategic thinker, passionate about all things transportation and determined to find practicable solutions to any challenge presented to her.In her current role as Vice President/Operations Director at Arcadis, she is responsible for leading the growth and performance of Arcadis\' Mobility Business in the 6 New England states and Florida.Her experience showcases involvement in a diverse portfolio of construction projects including multiple industries in the transportation sector. She has worked in a $2.9 Billion Dollar expansion to the Miami International Airport (MIA), numerous highway/roadway/bridge projects across the state of Massachusetts (MassDOT) and multiple projects with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). She was also part of a multi-million-dollar program to upgrade United States Postal Service (USPS) facilities in different states in the New England region, multiple public school project renovations/additions with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), among other assignments. Mrs. Palek holds a Master of Liberal Arts Degree with a concentration in Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Florida International University. She is a certified Project Management Professional, a LEED Accredited Professional and is completely fluent in both English and Spanish.She is an active networker and volunteer in the infrastructure development community, currently serving as Member-at-Large in the WTS-Boston Advisory Board, and as a member of the WTS International Chapter Operations Task Force. She is also active in an ACEC/MA Partnering Committee.In acknowledgement of her professional achievements and industry involvement, she has received the following recognitions-2025 WTS-Boston Member of the Year Award-2023 Engineering News-Record (ENR) New England’s Top Young Professional.
