ABOUT VICTORIA KENT

I am a Paralegal based in Southern Connecticut and began my legal career in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My passion for human rights and social justice led me to pursue paralegal certification. I earned my MET CPE Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Boston University in April 2023.I am an advocate for mental health and equal access to resources, especially for underserved communities. I am also passionate about re-entry for the previously incarcerated. Prior to legal I worked in the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement at Thomas Jefferson, one of Philadelphia\'s premiere hospital systems and private universities. In my role at Jefferson, I engaged with our partners around community specific needs. I previously worked at Invicro, a Konica Minolta Company, and HAVEN, an independent non-profit health intervention program for licensed healthcare professionals. I graduated Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in Communications in May 2016. During my time at Quinnipiac, I was awarded the Senior Writing Award in Media Studies and the 2016 Quinnipiac University Writing Across the Curriculum in the Humanities. Additionally, I was published in Quinnipiac\'s Little Bobcat Handbook (2015) and the Quinnipiac Magazine (fall 2015), where I served as an intern to the editor.
