The \'UNderstandIng each other TogEther (UNITE): A journey into our experiences of stigma to celebrate diversity and create change\' project is a three-year (20••••23) project aimed at resisting stigma and discrimination within BCMHSUS, part of the Provincial Health Services Authority. It includes, but is not limited to: revisions to existing policies and procedures, an awareness video series and facilitated dialogues, workshops and mentorship and patient journey mapping.The Lived Experience Strategic Advisor role includes: advising on the planning, implementation, and evaluation; facilitating dialogue and workshops. In addition it involves co-designing videos and other illustrative products to promote anti-stigma principles in partnership with Emily Carr University of Art and others with lived experience; recruitment and selection of storytellers for videos and patient journey mapping.
