As a college graduate at the end of the Great Recession, it was safe to say I didn\'t know my next step. My father encouraged me to try sales because in his words,\"If you can do sales, you can do anything.\" And sell I did. While developing and managing other sales representatives, I exceeded $7M. After a decade+ in F&B sales, I took some time to consider my next move. I accepted a role as a Data Analyst — learning facets of Python to streamline Meta\'s accounting processes. After nearly 12 years, I learned an entirely new skillset in a remote setting — a reminder that there is nothing I cannot do.At this time, I also pursued a lifelong passion: writing. I learned how to craft a pitch and the 3rd email I sent, I got a reply. My first article was published by Marie Claire and I was later interviewed by The Washington Post. This passion led me to public relations where I’ve worked with B2B and B2C clients across AI, AR/VR, blockchain, DevOps, DataGov, fintech, proptech, and regulatory and compliance.
