As a senior leader in Digital Transformation and Data Strategy, I am dedicated to driving innovation in healthcare, always with a focus on patient-centricity, evidence-based decisions, and impactful digital change.Currently, as Global Head of Digital Transformation at Boehringer Ingelheim, I am accountable for shaping and implementing the Data and Digital Transformation Strategy for Clinical Development Operations. My role includes leading cross-functional teams in Data Governance, Analytics, and Digital Innovation to unlock the full value of data & AI throughout the drug development lifecycle.Previously, as Global Head of Data Governance and Insights, I implemented robust data governance structures and brought together high-performing teams to generate actionable evidence for deep insights in Clinical Development. In my various roles as Head of Health Informatics and Analytics, I led strategy and implementation to generate actionable real-world evidence from complex healthcare data - directly supporting R&D, Regulatory, and Commercial initiatives.My academic background includes a PhD and MS in Biostatistics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as well as degrees in Mathematics from Boston University. I am also trained in Agile/Scrum (Product Owner & Scrum Master) and in Design Thinking, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration and strategic execution. Beyond my industry work, I am an AI mentor at the NYU Stern Endless Frontiers Lab and occasionally teach Strategy & Analytics at Columbia University.
