About Victoria Madu
As a Bioengineering Undergraduate at UCLA, Victoria Madu is dedicated to strengthening her skills through diverse experiences. Her journey to engineering was shaped by various roles, including working as a pharmacy technician, being her household\'s allergy-friendly baker, and experimenting with hair product formulations in her bathroom sink. These unique experiences have fueled her passion for innovative problem-solving. At UCLA and beyond, she is actively engaged in activities ranging from engineering projects to educational outreach, aiming to leverage her diverse background to tackle engineering and societal challenges with a creative and fresh perspective. Victoria is heavily involved in the National Society of Black Engineers, where she offers her time and love of outreach by serving on both her chapter and regional executive boards. Since beginning higher education at UCLA, Victoria has been recognized with the Johnson & Johnson ELC Scholarship, Winston C. Doby Legacy Scholarship, Eugene and Marilyn Stein Scholarships in Engineering, and Augustine Esogbue Scholarship, among many others. She spent the summer of 2025 working with Procter and Gamble in Cape Girardeau, MO, as a Baby Care Engineering Intern, and is excited to see what the future holds.
