I am a dedicated professional with a strong passion for education, conservation, outreach, and advocacy. I hold a Master of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida, where I concentrated in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. My graduate studies deepened my understanding of effective program development, research methods, and strategic nonprofit management. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education Sciences with a minor in Innovation, equipping me with the skills to design creative, impactful learning experiences. I am also currently enrolled in the Wildlife Management Graduate Certificate program, expanding my expertise in wildlife ecology, management practices, and conservation science.My background is rooted in fostering educational opportunities that empower underserved youth and strengthen communities. I have hands-on experience developing community-based programs that integrate conservation principles, aiming to bridge gaps in environmental education and promote sustainability. This passion was further shaped by a study abroad experience focused on social development and environmental conservation, which inspired me to merge education with advocacy for natural resource protection.In addition to program planning and community engagement, I have a proven ability to amplify nonprofit messaging and manage grants to support impactful initiatives.    Manage all operations of the Education Department and Beaversprite (1,300-acre conservation property)• Develop and lead education and conservation plans for diverse audiences• Oversee Zoomobile outreach, on-site programs, camps, and daily animal presentations• Collaborate with PR to promote programs and community partnerships• Manage budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking for educational initiatives• Evaluate program impact and track attendance and performance metrics• Serve on the Research Committee and coordinate research projects• Hire, train, and supervise education staff and docents• Ensure proper animal handling, welfare, and ambassador animal program support• Maintain education facilities, vehicles, and compliance with regulations• Contribute to grants, interpretive graphics, and zoo-wide events
