About Victoria Carlborg

Victoria launched her bi-coastal career as a 17-year-old high school graduate for a Gannett print newspaper in California back in 1994, when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. She worked in editorial for eight years, including one at the San Diego bureau of the AP and a few in the community news section of the “Union-Tribune.\"\'Sources\' informed Victoria that dinosaurs were extinct, so she explored the advertorial side of the house for local entities of Marine Corps Community Services, Barnes & Noble, the Girl Scouts, and Catholic Charities. The former newswoman spent a decade contributing to systems change leveraging her PR skills when she served on substance abuse prevention coalitions in several capacities: as a health educator in San Diego County, a volunteer board member in North Carolina, and a content developer for the coalitions’ national association in DC. This past decade, Victoria worked as a writer/editor at the Office of Advocacy and regulatory affairs at the U.S. Small Business Administration in DC, then as the education manager at the national headquarters of VSO PsychArmor Institute back in California, and laid the foundation of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce\'s workforce development program. She then supported the work of Vistage Worldwide, which coaches high-integrity leaders to make great decisions that benefit their companies, families and communities.
