I am passionate about storytelling, and throughout my career I have had the privilege of telling a wide variety of stories across a diverse set of mediums. There are too many to recount here, so I will limit myself to my top five favorite projects that I\'ve worked on: 🡆 Crafting tools to share the stories and voices of ten year olds around the world advocating expanded education quality and access, with the power of global grassroots activists boosting them up via engagement with emails, letters to elected representatives, a quiz, promotion of policy tools, and more ahead of the annual GPE conference. 🡆 Sharing the stories of endangered and critically endangered whale species, such as the North Atlantic right whale and the Southern Resident Orca, via email, petition pages, and letters to elected representatives to advocate for necessary ecosystem wide reforms that would benefit people as much as animals. 🡆 Driving strategy to educate and engage members of the public to equip them to become empowered citizens, such as through writing digital engagement guides and building pages to connect people with their directly elected representatives from the local municipal level all the way up to the executive branch on issues they care about ranging from preventing new offshore oil drilling to vaccine equity. 🡆 Expanding the reach and breadth of Oceana\'s Marine Life Encyclopedia with new ocean animal and habitat profiles and improved SEO optimization to educate readers about the issues facing our oceans. 🡆 Strategizing with a team to develop the best short form (usually 120s or 90s) television ads for a variety of nonprofit clients to raise money and spread awareness of nonprofit missions. Outside of work, I am a published fantasy and science fiction author of short fiction currently pursuing my MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing at Emerson College. I am a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) and this year served as a Writing Adjudicator for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. I\'m equal parts passionate about storytelling and adding yet more books to my towering TBR pile - please let me know if you have any spec fic recommendations!
