ABOUT VICTORIA TINNEY
Hi, I\'m Victoria, a chartered structural engineer with the Institution of Structural Engineers and an approved certifier for building design under the SER scheme. I am a member of the CROSS-UK structural expert panel and received a commendation in the 2020 Institution of Structural Engineers\' Young Professional of the Year Award. I started my career working in London, for practices including Price & Myers, and SD Structures, before moving to Glasgow in 2021 where I continue to work on all sorts of exciting projects. I am passionate about finding elegant and sustainable design solutions on both new build and refurbishment projects. Behind my passion for design are my three core values which I bring to every project: • Creativity – I’m always curious, seeking inspiration from the existing building and its location, and looking at the options which are best suited to the project brief • Collaboration – People make the project and I enjoy developing relationships with other designers to build camaraderie and continuously improve design • Integrity – I hold all my work to the highest levels of quality, to ensure clarity and to reduce the risk of error in design and construction.
