ABOUT VICTORIA ROSE

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in trauma and anxiety. I have over 15 years of experience working with children and families in the field of mental health, both in the United States and Ireland. In my work, I have acquired a unique perspective on the challenges that face individuals suffering from mental illness. I also enjoy working with couples, and strive to bring harmony and balance to the relationship. Through dialectical-behavioral therapy, logotherapy, and strength-based approaches, clients are encouraged to search for their own ‘true meaning’ in their life, and to strive to strengthen and rebuild strained or damaged relationships. Clients practice strategies that assist them in managing their individual struggles such as, depression, anxiety, anger management, boundary work, and low motivation for goal completion. I encourage client\'s to find awareness and balance through the development of mindfulness skills, Wim Hof method, acceptance, challenging the fear of change, finding the adventure in trying something new, increasing solution focused and strategy skills, and building healthy coping skills, while practicing logic when needed. I’ve worked with duel diagnostic clients in addiction treatment (12 step in-patient program), utilizing evidence based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Logotherapy. And being military raised, having the opportunity to work with our Veterans is an honor and something that is very special to my heart. M.A.P.
