As artistic director, I am responsible for choosing, coaching, and teaching the dancers. I also chose the repertoire and coordinated artistic communications with marketing/PR and strategize development opportunities for artistic ambitions. As CEO since April 2008, all responsibilities within artistic and executive are over-lapping, coordinating into a single unified vision. It has been exciting and overwhelming, especially as we negotiated the troubled waters of a devastated economy. Today Cincinnati Ballet is in its most stable financial position in its history and its most adventurous place of artistic success.
