ABOUT VICTORIA JOINER

Victoria Joiner is currently Associate Professor of Communication at Southern Adventist University. She previously served at Oakwood University as an assistant professor of communication and as adjunct professor at Drake State Technical and Community College, Alabama A&M University, and Calhoun Community College. She is the former GM of WJOU radio for over 20 years. She is a sought-after speaker, singer, communication/marketing consultant, and presenter. She is the founder and director of Genesis Week Ministries, CEO of Miller Media Consultants, LLC, and specializes in a variety of seminars dealing with sexual abuse recovery, as well as, communication techniques. She is a writer and has been a contributor to Regional Voice, Message Magazine, Women of Spirit, DC7 Magazine: No More Dirty Purity Conference Edition, Collegiate Quarterly, and numerous other publications. She holds a Doctor of Educational Leadership and Change from Fielding Graduate University. She is an Alabama native and has been blessed to be the mother of two children – Jennifer and David.
