ABOUT VICTORIA TORI HURLES
I’m Victoria Hurles, a third-year student at the University of Florida studying Public Relations with a focus in corporate communication, along with minors in Event Management and Sociology of Social Justice and Policy.Law and policy were my first interests. I’ve always been drawn to how rules are written, interpreted, and argued, and how those words shape real lives. Over time, I discovered public relations and realized it speaks to the same core idea: language has power. What started as two separate interests quickly became one. Seeing how communication can influence public trust, decision-making, and accountability is what excites me most.PR gives me the tools to turn complex issues into messages people can actually understand and respond to. Law gives me the perspective to think critically about impact, fairness, and responsibility. Together, they shape how I approach everything I do.I care deeply about the work I take on and the people I work with. I do my best work when I am building something that matters, in rooms where ideas are challenged and real impact is possible. I show up, stay accountable, and I want to be part of work that shapes conversations and drives change.
