ABOUT VICTORIA DEMIRIS
I graduated from Ithaca College’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in August 2020, and I completed a neurologic PT residency program at URMC in December 2021. After completing the residency, I studied for and passed the NCS exam in 2022. I am a licensed PT in New York and California. I have experience working with patients in a variety of settings, including a pro bono outpatient clinic, aquatic physical therapy, outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neuro, various ICUs, acute care, and acute inpatient rehabilitation. These experiences have shown me how to effectively work with different types of people and cases, communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, incorporate evidence-based practice into my patient care, and learn how to adapt and change my original plan due to unexpected circumstances. I am looking for the opportunity to work with skilled clinicians to gain knowledge, wisdom, and experience in the field of neurologic physical therapy.
