ABOUT VICTORIA BROWN

Experienced Graduate Associate with a demonstrated history of working in the pharmaceuticals industry. During my year in industry as part of my degree I undertook a placement with GSK as a medicinal chemist in their epigenetics department. After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a First Class degree in Chemistry with a year in industry, I accepted a job at AstraZeneca to be part of their Global Operations Graduate programme.My first rotation was within Global Supplier Quality as a Project Manager with the Quality Management Systems team. I lead projects involving the clean up of master data, Lean and also the restructuring of our Management Review process to report our KPI’s allowing for a more holistic supply chain analysis. For my second rotation I was a Quality and Supply Chain Coordinator as a member of the Astrazeneca Vaccine supply team. As a coordinator for multiple DS and DP suppliers I developed trackers to allow better visibility of batch status and drove and coordinated review and release activities both internally and externally to ensure timely release to market. For my third rotation I have taken on the role of Process Lead as part of the Packing department at Macclesfield. This involves the management of a line team and driving supply and quality activities.
