Design and teach programs on the subjects of science, natural history and outdoor education to urban K-12 students. • Align programming to Next Generation Science Standards as well as other relevant state and local standards. • Communicate with school teachers and liaisons to schedule and plan programs. • Collaborate with other educators to team-teach, organize, and maintain all classroom spaces and equipment, including canoes, bikes, rock climbing equipment, ice skates and snowshoes.• Supervise and mentor adult volunteers, college and high school interns serving as teaching assistants.• Develop and lead inquiry-based experiences for summer campers, ages 2 and up, including overnight trips.
