As the sole Channel Security Engineer in the State of Florida my responsibilities consist of direct and close engagement with the channel partner ecosystem in activities that include:• Drive meetings with channel partners and customers to work on opportunities and architect security solutions that meet business and compliance needs.• Demonstrate how Check Point technologies prevent enterprise-targeted attacks like zero-day, phishing, data exfiltration and ransomware. • Work with key partners and customers on info-security challenges and establish how Check Point solutions can solve them.• Interact with R&D regarding product enhancements and new features.• Assist and support channel account managers. Recent projects:• Configured SASE Internet Access and performed live demos to highlight C&C prevention, Anti-Malware, DLP and other key security features.• Setup SASE Private Access using WireGuard connector-tunnels with Ubuntu servers in data centers. • Prepared and delivered training sessions for channel partners on CloudGuard Network Security using AWS Gateway Load Balancer. • Guest speaker at events including ISSA, ISACA and NSU Florida on topics such us, API Email Security, ZTNA full-mesh topology and AI applied to CybersecurityPersonal skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Experienced in multiple type of networking gear and security environments- Ability to create end-to-end security solutions for complex environments- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
