MEng Civil Engineer specializing in the water industry, with over 10 years of experience in the United Kingdom, working across both consultancies and water companies.I have extensive experience in clean water networks and hydraulic modelling using Infoworks Pro, as well as in detailed and master planning of water networks and associated assets such as control valves, reservoirs, and pumping stations. My expertise also includes geospatial analysis using GIS and the optimization of large water transfers between different Hydraulic Demand Zones (HDZs) and Demand Meter Areas (DMAs).I also have experience in designing distribution and trunk main reinforcements using no-dig technologies. My expertise covers all aspects of distribution and trunk main design, from preliminary design, route selection, and pipe material selection to detailed design of connections, commissioning, and network operability—ensuring demand is met while minimizing water quality risks.In my last two years at Affinity Water, I leveraged my previous experience as a designer and hydraulic modeller to develop two business cases for AMP8: Emergent Risk and Single Point of Failure.
