About Victor Popescu

I am a Data Science student at Purdue University with a strong interest in technology, problem solving, and building practical projects. I enjoy learning how data, programming, and analytical thinking can be used to understand complex systems and make better decisions.Outside of coursework, I like working on different technical and entrepreneurial ideas, from building small software projects to exploring how data and technology can be applied in business and finance. I also enjoy mentoring and teaching, and I have experience tutoring students for standardized tests and helping younger students develop stronger math skills.In addition to my academic interests, I value leadership and community involvement. I have led groups of students during Purdue’s Boiler Gold Rush program and enjoy collaborating with others on projects, learning new skills, and taking on new challenges.

Work with large datasets to clean, analyze, and model data using tools such as Python and SQL. Develop insights and data-driven solutions that support decision making and improve understanding of complex systems. Present findings and progress through reports and presentations as part of a professional industry partnership.
