About Victor Mavedzenge
My art serves to shift paradigms by inspiring, motivating and enriching either the viewer or the student through the deconstruction of perceptions and challenging limiting beliefs. As an artist I am primarily a painter with a very curious mind. I am interested in the image, how it functions during creation and the resulting effect. My interests vary from performance to graphic design. As with the painting, the performance is geared towards creating hyper-real situations where I aim to take the audience from an \"ordinary \" situation to one of heightened awareness.
